High School

9th- 12th Grade

Your child is in their final and most independent stage at DSA. College counseling is a big part of these 4 years. Tailored plans are made together by the students, parents, and school. The goal is to strengthen their identity, leadership, and real world skills before they leave for college and the rest of their lives.

Highlights of the program

Rigorous Curriculum

Our curriculum is built and developed to cultivate and maximize each student's unique God-given talents and abilities so he or she will be well-equipped for the rigors of college and the constantly changing workplace. We offer a wide variety of core subjects and electives that focus on critical thinking, working independently and interdependently, and conducting active research. Students find success as we provide individualized support to meet their diverse learning needs.

Individual Attention

We recognize and value each child as a unique individual and strive to structure our programs to meet each student’s needs. Our teachers develop lessons that cater to all types of learners, establish relationships inside and outside the classroom, and create an environment where our students are challenged, enjoy the learning process, and are able to maximize their God-given potential. Divine Savior remains committed at the high school level to offering small class sizes, low teacher-student ratios, and creating a network of support for our students with the goal of meeting their specific needs and helping them thrive.

Preparation for College

Divine Savior Academy is proud of our 100% college acceptance rate. All of our students have the opportunity to continue with a college-level program of study if they choose to pursue this option. Our college counseling department works with our students from the beginning of their freshman year to help select courses, encourage participation in student life, understand their talents and interests, and other tasks that help prepare our students for applying to college and choosing their school of choice after Divine Savior Academy.

FINE ARTS

Designed to create a well-rounded education, DSA's fine arts program also seeks to develop the God-given abilities of each individual student. Music classes, instrumental lessons, choir, drama productions, visual art, and after-school activities are some of the ways that students can participate in the fine arts at DSA.

ATHLETICS

The mission of the Divine Savior athletic program is to strengthen the talents and abilities of our student-athletes, as well as develop qualities such as teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and humility. This is accomplished through competitive athletic teams, skills programs, and physical education classes. Learn more about our competitive teams.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Clubs at Divine Savior Academy are student-led and student-driven, so offerings vary from year to year depending on student interest and the unique needs of each incoming class of students. Through club participation, students learn to organize and lead, as well as bond over shared interests and experiences. Additionally, activities like academic fairs, spirit weeks, mission trips, and more are available to enrich the high school experience for our students.
